Cere Network Partners with Blockchain Firm Harmony to Secure Personally Identifiable Information and Link to Fragmented Data Economy

Cere Network revealed on February 18 that it has formed a strategic partnership with Harmony in order to secure personally identifiable information (PII) and link to a fragmented data economy by “co-innovating” with Harmony’s developers and their zero-knowledge proving (ZKP) system. 

According to a press release shared with Crowdfund Insider:

“This initiative aims to further empower businesses to compliantly access, store, and manage secure data and services across an interoperable ecosystem that will connect all of the world’s consumers to businesses.”

Harmony is a proof-of-stake (PoS)-based blockchain network with an established presence along with a decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Game collectibles have also been created via the Harmony platform. 

Additionally, Harmony supports “privacy by design” and decentralized data industries. Harmony was notably selected as a scaling partner for the Samsung Wallet supported Health data app LYMPO. It was also selected by SafeHaven, a decentralized application for asset management. 

The Cere Network includes a customer data ecosystem that has been developed from the ground up for “individual privacy and customization,” the release noted. 

Fred Jin, co-founder and CEO at Cere Network, stated:

Companies may use distributed ledger technologies (DLT) from Harmony and Cere Network to maintain “true data ownership while preserving customer data privacy using Cere’s data services.”

The DLT-based platforms from both companies allow users to quickly obtain real-time customer insights. They can also respond to the insights from each user by using Cere’s personalization services. The DLT solutions from Cere and Harmony also enable secures data sharing with partners in “fully compliant ways without PII (personally identifiable information).”

Cere Network is a blockchain-enabled CRM ecosystem platform that facilitates service data integration and collaboration. The Cere solution aims to “capture the entire customer journey on the blockchain and stores key user data such as purchases, achievements, and usage in the user’s wallet.” 

Cere Network is founded by experienced tech industry professionals who have reportedly worked at Amazon, Twitch, and Bebo.
