A “first-ever” crypto-exchange plugin for WordPress has been announced by the VC firm of Draper Goren Holm. The plugin is being pitched as the quickest way to launch your very own cryptocurrency exchange without a squadron of engineers to do the work (and maintain a high level of security).
So how can they offer this you ask?
And how is the plugin regulated?
Important questions.
As we have been informed, the plugin is, in fact, an extension of Totle – a portfolio company DGH is supporting. Apparently, Totle is also responsible for any and all compliance requirements as well.
So why would you want to add an extension of Totle to your website? Well, you can set your own fees.
Since the plugin was only launched this week the jury is out on its adoption but the reviews, at least so far, have been pretty decent.
David Bleznak, founder and CEO of Totle, says he has always been focused on making decentralized exchanges more accessible and easy to use. Bleznak says the WordPress plugin is another step in this direction.
Alon Goren, Founding Partner of Draper Goren Holm and the guy who coded the actual plugin says until today nobody has made it easier to add crypto trading to a WordPress site.
Tim Draper describes the plugin as taking us one step closer to the dream of a truly borderless world:
“How cool is it that everyone, not just engineers, can now launch their own crypto exchanges on WordPress using the plugin our team built.”
