LaneAxis, a U.S.-based SaaS company that uses patented technology to eliminate phone calls, faxes, emails, and other inefficient processes in the supply chain/freight industry, has successfully secured more than $755,000 through its Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) round on equity crowdfunding platform StartEngine.
Founded in 2015, LaneAxis describes itself as a freight efficiency-obsessed software company leveraging smart tech and smart ideas to create the first-of-its-kind shipper-to-carrier direct transportation network.
“Our focus is on the persistent two-pronged problem: 1) Connecting shippers directly to drivers/carriers. 2) Managing the complicated process of a freight movement from A to Z – from contracts to insurance certificates to shipment documents – all the way to the final proof of delivery.”
Speaking about its products, LaneAxis stated:
“LaneAxis FreightVISION fixes this by providing real-time tracking, electronic documentation, load level driver messaging, in-app trucker-specific navigation, as well as driver and location-based data for 𝇍99 per load. LaneAxis FreightLINK is another first-of-its-kind product that connects shippers directly to drivers and data via a vast independent trucker network.”
LaneAxis further noted that the LaneAxis Professional Trucker App integrates directly with the carrier portal and provides free truck specific navigation, in app messaging to carriers/shippers and opportunities to direct access of loads.
“As the driver network grows the Shipper portal integrates itself to both the carrier portal and mobile app. The Shipper portal enhances the shipper-carrier connection. Marrying these three together will solve major inefficiencies of detention times, empty miles and billions of dollars in managed services fees.”
Funds from the StartEngine round will be used to continue the growth and development of the LaneAxis platform. The campaign is set to close mid-May.
