Fintech Curve Launches Metal Card in Europe

UK based Curve, a banking platform that consolidates multiple cards into a single card and app, has announced that its premium Curve Metal card and affiliated benefits are now available to its customers in the European Economic Area (EEA).

Curve customers in the EEA can now take advantage of cashback with double the retailers of its other tiers, increased spend limits, as well as free debit fronted credit transactions. Other benefits include worldwide travel insurance, discounted lounge access with LoungeKey, competitive foreign exchange rates, phone insurance and for a subscription fee of €14.99 a month or €150 a year.

Nathalie Oestmann, COO at Curve, said availability of the Metal card in the EEA is a clear commitment to their growth in Europe.

Curve seeks to provide a simple way for people to manage their finances and enjoy a better banking experience across their accounts. By enabling people to interconnect their banks to one card and app, Curve strives to provide its customers with greater financial convenience.

Curve recently announced that it has become a principal member of Mastercard and is also one of the first companies in Europe to provision numberless cards to its crowdfunding investors. Earlier this year, Curve also announced the appointment of Hannah Nixon, the former CEO of the Payment Systems Regulator.
