WorldRemit Announces Partnerships With Mexican Neobanking Groups albo & Klar

WorldRemit announced on Thursday it has formed partnerships with Mexico-based neobanks albo and Klar. According to Jorge Godinez, Head of LATAM at WorldRemit, the UK based Fintech is considered the first money transfer company to enable transfers to albo and Klar.

While speaking about the collaboration with WorldRemit, Fernando Abad Torres, Partnerships Manager at albo, revealed:

“We are committed to promoting financial inclusion and helping Mexicans to enjoy the benefits of digital technology. Partnering with WorldRemit will benefit our customers by providing them with more transfer options to support their families and friends.”

Rafael Sainz, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Klar, concluded:

“We are delighted about the alliance with WorldRemit since it will allow our users in Klar to receive remittances from over 50 countries around the world.”

Founded in 2010, WorldRemit states it is seeking to change the way people send money abroad. The company noted it sends to 150 countries around the world and have more than four million customers.
