Nium Appoints Frederick Crosby As New Chief Revenue Officer

Global fintech infrastructure platform, Nium, announced on Thursday it has appointed Frederick Crosby as its new Chief Revenue Officer. The appointment comes less than two weeks after Nium it is expanding its services into Africa and the Middle East.

According to Nium, Crosby has nearly two decades of experience in C2C, B2B, B2C payment industries. He held positions at PayPal, Western Union, and Veem. While speaking about Crosby’s appointment, Prajit Nanu, Co-Founder and CEO of Nium shared:

 “I am super excited to welcome Frederick in this new position. With his extensive experiences in high-growth planning and execution, he is perfectly suited to lead the charge to break new ground, and ensure that we remain the platform partner of choice for enterprises.”

Crosby went on to add:

“Designing and implementing go-to-market growth strategies for start-ups and enterprise companies has been at the heart of my professional career, and I cannot wait to combine my passion for global payments and FinTech with this new role at Nium.”

Founded in 2015, Nium (originally InstaReM) was launched to improve the cross-border payments experience for consumers in the APAC region. It has since expanded and scaled its offerings to meet the needs of SMEs, financial institutions, enterprises, and other payment service providers. Nium added it currently operates its Send, Spend and Receive business in over 100 countries, 65 in real-time.
