Revolut Offers One Bitcoin Give Away Promotion for Black Friday

Digital bank Revolut has announced that it will hand over one Bitcoin, worth around £14,333 right now, as part of a “Black Friday Crypto competition.” The promotion is only available for UK customers.

Revolut users just need to set up a Crypto Recurring Buy worth at least €10 and make at least one Recurring Buy transaction by midnight UK time on Sunday 29 November 2020 to qualify – an interesting way to juice the feature on the banking app.

If customers already have a crypto Recurring Buy set up, and have made a Recurring Buy transaction of at least €10 or more before our competition started, they are eligible too. Customers will be automatically entered once their Recurring Buy has been confirmed.  The competition will close at midnight on Sunday 29th November 2020.

The recurring buy feature enables customers to automate buying crypto worth a fixed amount of fiat currency on a fixed schedule. Revolut reports that most of its current customers already opt for a weekly Recurring Buy, perhaps reflecting the younger user base of the digital bank.
