Financial Software Engineering Company Ultra Stellar Acquires StellarX Cryptocurrency Trading Platform From Coinsquare

Less than two years after Coinsquare acquired cryptocurrency trading platform StellarX, financial software engineering company Ultra Stellar has purchased the platform. As previously reported, StellarX is claimed to be the first full-featured trading app for Stellar’s universal marketplace. The exchange operates as a truly decentralized exchange, meaning users retain sole custody of their funds, trades are executed against other users, and StellarX has no access to funds.

“StellarX is the first full-featured trading app for Stellar’s universal marketplace. It was created by a team with deep user-friendly building experience and showcases a wide selection of assets: crypto, fiat tethers, commodities, bonds, and more.”

Speaking about the acquisition, Dmitri Gmyza, Co-Founder of Ultra Stellar, stated:

“StellarX provides the best DEX trading experience. It’s a brilliant addition to our existing product portfolio. We know it has a huge potential and we will be pushing hard to reach it.”

Ultra Stellar develops apps on the Stellar network. Other Stellar products include LOBSTR, a simple and secure Stellar wallet, and StellarTerm, an open-source client that can be used to access the Stellar Decentralized Exchange.
