Brickowner, a Property Investment Platform, Hires Former Barclays Executive

Brickowner, a property investment platform, has selected Kenneth Green as Head of Compliance, according to a note from the Proptech. Green is a former Barclays executive with over 10 years of experience providing compliance and risk advice to financial services firms.

Green said he is thrilled to be part of the growth story of a business that is opening-up property investing to investors who have traditionally found it difficult
or impossible to access this asset class.

“Property investment platforms are relatively new and a key concern for us will be to scale responsibly, working with regulators, so that the interests of our investors and partners are always at the forefront.”

Fred Bristol, Brickowner’s co-founder and CEO, commented:

“We are growing fast and adding new investors and investment opportunities all the time. This requires us to have a solid grip on the regulatory and risk-based issues at the meeting place of technology and property investing. Kenneth brings a wealth of experience, expertise and insight to Brickowner as well as an obvious passion for risk and compliance that has already impressed our partners.”

Brickowner is an early-stage firm that has raised capital on Seedrs several times, most recently this past spring when the company raised almost £400,000.
