Paysend is reporting record active users in a single day on December 30, 2020. According to the UK based Fintech, over 35,000 users completed 45,000 transfers on that day.
Paysend touts the fact that the majority of transactions take 15 seconds or less to complete meaning users can move money around the world in under a minute. This is said to compare with traditional transfers that can take an hour.
Alberto Macciani, CMO at Paysend, says that by saving time in transferring money, people have more time to spend on things that matter to them:
“As Benjamin Franklin would say: lost time is never found again. That is why we want to give time back to our customers through our digital services.”
Paysend says the number of customers they are serving has grown from 1.3 million to over 2.8 million in 2020 and the company is planning further expansion in 2021.
Paysend is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and services 45+ countries and multiple currencies.
Paysend recently opened its US operations and secured a partnership with Alipay in order to grow its global footprint.
