Jack Henry and Associates, a Payments Processing Service for Financial Industry, Appoints Chris King as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: JKHY) is an established provider of technology solutions and payment processing services mainly for the financial services sector.

Today (June 23, 2021), the company confirmed that Chris King has been appointed Chief Sales and Marketing Officer after the retirement of Steve Tomson.

Recently, King worked as VP of NCR’s Global Financial Sales channel. In this senior management role, he was tasked with leading NCR’s partner network covering more than 114 different countries and thousands of clients. As a 31-year industry veteran of the financial services sector, King has occupied key leadership positions at established financial services organizations, such as Diebold Nixdorf, Carreker (now known as FISERV), and Regions Bank.

David Foss, president and chief executive officer of Jack Henry, added:

“Chris brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our corporate leadership team, and we are looking forward to him driving our sales and marketing efforts to new heights. We are confident his financial services experience will assist us in strengthening partnerships and helping our clients innovate, grow, and compete successfully. As we welcome Chris to the team, I also want to thank Steve for his more than 15 years of outstanding service to our company. We are a much better sales and marketing organization today than we were just a few years ago because of the intense focus and leadership provided by Steve. Although we are sad to see him go, we know he has more than earned the opportunity to enjoy a little slower pace.”

As covered recently, Berlin-headquartered deposit marketplace Raisin has officially launched its operations in the US by teaming up with its first partner bank. Raisin has now integrated its deposit marketplace with US-based Jack Henry, a core banking solution provider.

U.S. fintech Plaid announced last year that it joined forces with Jack Henry to enable Plaid Exchange to more than 350 banks. Plaid launched Plaid Exchange, which is an open finance platform, this past May.
