Aussie Blockchain Voting Platform Horizon State to Launch Equity Crowdfunding Campaign

Australian blockchain-based voting and engagement platform Horizon State will soon start an equity crowdfunding offering on the Equitise platform. Funds will go to staffing, technology, expansion, and other sectors.

Horizon State has developed a digital voting and engagement platform that facilitates secure and remote public voting from any type of device, the company said. Minimal personal information is collected, the added.

“We have put a strong and experienced team together supported by advisors with a range of technology, business, compliance and capacity building knowledge. We hope the public will join us and support our team, as we move to bring our platform to its fullest potential.” Horizon State CEO Tim Goggin said. “Allegations of electoral fraud in the United States, along with the widely-reported voting system failures, have demonstrated that our current voting methods have failed to keep up with our evolving world.”
