PPCBank in Cambodia Uses BPC Banking Tech

London-based BPC banking technology is reporting that PPCBank in Cambodia has is now using its SmartVista platform. SmartVista is being utilized to centralize their payment switching activity, manage and monitor their ATM and POS networks.

The bank says that it is responding to the country’s boom in e-commerce and will be using SmartVista merchant-acquiring solutions to deliver its online checkout service

PPCBank is a subsidiary of South Korean JB Financial Group, and OK Financial Group. PPCBank was established in Cambodia in 2008 and is serving retail customers with a focus on growing the acquisition of SME clients, a segment deemed as underserved in their market.

Jongil Baek, President of PPCBank, explained that Cambodia is transforming rapidly, and they must remain ahead of the market:
