Broadway Technology, a provider of high-performance front-office solutions, reveals that it has hired two Fintech industry professionals as part of its efforts to expand its international business development team.

Broadway Technology noted that they continue to make investments in top industry talent in order to support their global growth plans while increasing their focus on improving customer service.

Broadway has always focused on investing in our people and our customer relationships, and we’re proud to welcome such exceptional industry talent to our global business development team to enable us to continue delivering exceptional customer experiences.”

As first reported by Finextra, the new additions to Broadway Technology’s US and UK relationship management teams include Carlota Parages-Torres and Jim Bruen.

As mentioned in the announcement, Carlota Parages-Torres has joined Broadway at its London offices as Director of Business Development. Before Broadway, Parages-Torres spent over 2 decades with Bloomberg LP, where she was responsible for leading Fixed Income Electronic Trading Solution Sales to Tier-1 UK fund managers.

During her time spent working at Bloomberg, she also occupied key roles as Senior UK Buyside Execution Platform Sales and Relationship Manager and Sell Side Order Management System Sales. She also has prior experience working in Repo Sales for Compagnie Financiere Tradition.

As noted in the update, Jim Bruen joins Broadway at the firm’s New York offices as Director of Business Development. Bruen brings nearly 30 years of experience in the international financial and tech markets to Broadway, with expertise in front end electronic trading systems.
