Digital Payments and Banking Tech Provider, i2C Inc, Appoints Serena Smith as Chief Client Offcer

I2C Inc., a provider of virtual payment and banking tech, has reportedly appointed Serena Smith as the firm’s Chief Client Officer.

Reporting directly to Amir Wain, Founder and CEO of i2c Inc., Smith will be responsible for overseeing international account management for existing and new customer relationships, supporting customer success while ensuring a seamless experience in customer journeys across product lines as the firm continues its expansion and steady growth.

Serena brings more than 20 years of industry expertise to her role, having held leadership positions at RealPage, the largest tech platform servicing the real estate market, Texas Capital Bank and FIS.

Smith spent 16 years working at FIS in different global capacities, the last three of which she worked as the division executive of International Banking & Payments and held key business and financial responsibility roles for the real time payments and enterprise payments product suites.

These roles have earned Smith several accolades like the 2019 Women in Payments USA award, 2018 American Business Maverick of the Year award, and the 2017 PaymentsSource 25 Most Influential Women in Payments. Serena has reportedly spoken at payments conferences, and served as a member of or chaired a number of payments committees.
