Digital Asset Venture Firm A&T Capital Finalizes $100M Fund

A&T Capital has finalized the fundraising for a $100 million pool of capital that will be dedicated to cryptocurrency and blockchain-focused venture investments, the company confirmed.

The investors reportedly include major Fintech industry participants, partners of various other venture funds as well as technology entrepreneurs, the firm revealed but did not disclose the names of the backers.

In October of last year, A&T announced that it had finalized an initial round of fundraising at $70 million. Since its inception back in April 2021, A&T has reportedly invested over $19 million in 30 different initiatives, such as digital asset lenders Amber Group and Matrixport, custodian service provider Cobo, and Ethereum software development studio, ConsenSys.

A&T Capital is an early to growth stage venture fund for emerging disruptive technologies.

Backed by 5+ fintech Decacorn ($10B+ valuation) and a few blockchain “early influencers” with 10,000 BTC, A&T Capital claims that it is “uniquely positioned to support promising decentralised digital age start-ups to realize their full disruptive potential.”

Their managing partners, supported by an international team of researchers and analysts, claim to have “a proven successful investment track records in emerging fields such as blockchain, AI, security, privacy and specialized chipsets.” Their objective is “to bring superior risk adjusted returns to our investors.”

They believe the world is “on the cusp of a lasting technological revolution and [they] will be a significant part of it.”

Recently, A&T Capital announced the launch of the “A&T Capital Product Council”, a team of experienced advisors “to help portfolio companies grow and thrive.”

Members of the council reportedly “include early employees of tech giants and top-tier startups, with wide range of expertise in engineering, product, legal and business development.”

A&T Capital’s management has also noted that they are currently “looking for fundamental blockchain infrastructures and innovative business models to accelerate the deployment of blockchain technology of our future.”
