RBC Clearing and Custody (RBC C&C), a division of RBC Capital Markets, LLC, recently confirmed the launch of RBC Nexus, a unified tech platform and secure entry point for independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors.
RBC Nexus is reportedly the only platform financial professionals require to carry out all business with RBC C&C, minimizing the need to access several different applications or manage integrations.
It was conceived as a new way to assist financial professionals with efficiently managing their customer relationships, manage their book of business, and accessing RBC C&C’s complete array of tech tools in a single place.
Noel Stave, CTO at RBC Clearing & Custody, stated:

In addition to managing their book of business in RBC Nexus, financial professionals are able to take advantage of integrated capabilities such as a digital account opening platform that’s powered by Docupace, utilize RBC C&C’s Nexus Trading workstation for order entry, and analyze and report on customer assets using RBC C&C’s performance reporting solution powered by Addepar.
As explained in the update, RBC Nexus centralizes key functionalities, and more, at no extra cost.
Stave added:

As noted in the update, users may seamlessly access RBC C&C’s multi-custodial platform, RBC BLACK directly via RBC Nexus.
As mentioned in the announcement, RBC Nexus is device and OS agnostic, allowing financial professionals to offer proactive client service and responsive client support from their office, from their home or any other place they choose to carry out their business.
