Anchorage Digital, IEEE Portugal Section Partner on Blockchain/DLT Education Initiatives

Anchorage Digital and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Portugal Section are pleased to announce a partnership “focused on educating the next generation of engineers and technologists about blockchain, distributed systems, and cryptography.”

Together, Anchorage and IEEE Portugal (with more than 1,300 members in the country) plan to “host a series of IEEE networking events to educate members on the technical aspects of crypto and careers in crypto and blockchain technologies.”

Two upcoming events will kick off their joint goals “in advancing technology and building a global community of engineers.”

IEEE Portugal’s Leadership Camp from 1–2 October, 2022, “with IEEE sharing details on social media.”

A webinar series called “Engineering in Discussion” scheduled in December 2022 “will enhance IEEE members’ technical knowledge about crypto assets.”

Diogo Mónica, President and Co-Founder of Anchorage Digital, said:
