Anchorage Digital Will Custody NFTs for iHeartMedia

Anchorage Digital will be providing custody services for iHeartMedia and their new NFTs called the “Non-Fun Squad.”

Anchorage is the first and only federally chartered digital asset bank providing services to other banks and large corporations. iHeartMedia is the media operator that includes radio stations in around 160 markets in the US. iHeartMedia announced the launch of the Non Fun Squad NFTs in April of 2022.

Described as the “first-of-its-kind non-fungible token” based media franchise and shared media universe, phase one of the Non-Fun Squad is the launch of the Non-Fun Podcast Network, a podcast.

Anchorage states that it is custodying CryptoPunks and Mutant Apes for iHeartMedia with plans to custody more NFTs for iHeart in the future.

Anchorage notes that in 2021 it became the first U.S. bank to custody an NFT when we helped Visa to purchase and custody a CryptoPunk.
