Fintech Verto, Locusnine to Streamline Cross-Border Payments

Verto notes that their relationship with Locusnine began in 2019 when they partnered to focus on scaling their “MVP architecture.”

Since then, they’ve gone on to build a cross-border payments platform.

They are excited to announce that Locusnine is now “officially part of the Verto family.”

Ola Oyetayo, CEO and Co-founder of Verto, said:

“Right from the very first line of code, we knew this would grow to be more than a partnership. The ethos and values of the Locusnine team were perfectly aligned with Verto’s; customer first, be the best, champion the mission and go the extra mile. We are truly delighted to be welcoming some of the brightest engineering minds into the Verto team.”

This acquisition will super-charge their speed of travel as they “build the future of cross-border payments.” They will aim to “connect the world’s best businesses, especially in emerging markets, with … products and services and remain singularly focused on delighting [their] users.”

Locusnine is “an innovation studio based in Pune, India.” They help businesses “transform their ideas into robust technical solutions with innovative design solutions.”

Their team of designers, engineers, thinkers, doers and more “bring the creativity and freshness of a studio and the technological expertise of an engineering firm to deliver compelling, user-centric products.”

Their belief that well-designed software “can transform the lives of their users and help transcend technology barriers to exponentially enhance their experience is representative of Verto’s customer-centric product evolution.”

Sumit Maingi, Co-founder of Locusnine, remarked:

“Verto and Locusnine’s shared focus on building the products that transform businesses and create a positive impact made the choice to come together so organic. We are truly excited by the breadth of opportunities to build with a shared vision of creating global cross-border payment solutions that simplify the lives and experiences of businesses across the globe. Let’s build.”

Anthony Oduu, CTO/CPO, commented:

“The true winners of this integration will be our customers and partners. We will innovate, create and evolve products even faster than ever in our quest to build a truly global cross-border payments infrastructure. Our ability to collectively build game-changing solutions and embrace the most challenging part of product development and engineering is one of the reasons this integration made sense.”
