FIS Fintech Accelerator: Sygno Comments on Joining the Program

Earlier this month, FIS (NYSE:FIS) and the Venture Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, announced the ten new firms joining the 2022 FIS Fintech Accelerator class.

The FIS Accelerator is described as a key aspect of FIS Impact Ventures – the VC arm of FIS. The ten new Fintechs joining the program include Connect Earth, Equipify, Neural Payments, Nickels, Sardine, Redactable, Tapcheck, Themis, and Sygno – based in the Netherlands.

Earlier today, Sygno distributed a comment on its participation in the accelerator.

Sjoerd Slot, Founder at Sygno, said:

“Sygno being chosen for the FIS Fintech Accelerator program is an honor. Our solution supports banks and other financial institutions with automated modeling in the areas of Fraud and AML and is primed to help bankers and financial institutions innovate throughout the ongoing digital revolution, and we’re excited about the opportunity to meet with FIS’ network.”

Sygno states that it is leading the way in “Automated Machine Learning” (AutoML). Sygno offers automated modeling of good behavior which is designed to uncover transaction monitoring risks and reduces false positives. By focusing on the good, instead of the bad and “outdated criminal patterns,” Sygno can enhance a financial firms existing monitoring system, reducing the number of false positives.

The 12-week program kicked off on July 19 and culminates with a Demo Day on November 9. At that time, the Fintechs will demonstrate their solutions to hundreds of financial institutions, potential investors, and industry participants.
