Neo Teams Up with Simplex by Nuvei, an EU-Licensed Financial Institution

Neo has announced a new partnership with Simplex by Nuvei, an EU-licensed financial institution that “empowers its vast network of partners to accept the widest range of payment methods.”

This partnership will “provide users around the world with seamless onramps and offramps to NEO, GAS, and other cryptocurrencies.”

Users will be able “to purchase and cash out NEO and GAS along with other cryptocurrencies through Visa, Mastercard, SEPA, SWIFT, and over 100 other fiat funding options for various global currencies without having to go through external exchanges and fiat-to-cryptocurrency payment gateways.”

John Wang, the Director of Neo Eco-Growth, said:

“Neo cares about our user experience as passionately as we care about our developer experience. Last year’s launch of Neo N3 improved on the previous versions of the Neo platform by offering a significantly improved development experience. Working with Simplex to offer users onramps and offramps to NEO and other cryptocurrencies addresses another aspect of offering the best experience possible to everyone who interacts with Neo. We are very much looking forward to our partnership with Simplex.”

Founded as Antshares in 2014, Neo is “an open-source community-driven blockchain platform renowned for putting developers and builders at the heart of its vision.”

As one of the most established blockchains in the space, Neo has long focused on “building an interoperable, dApp-rich ecosystem.”

Neo developers claim it is now “the most feature-complete blockchain platform for building decentralized applications.” The platform “allows developers to digitize and automate the management of assets through smart contracts and to code in traditional web2 languages.” It also provides powerful native infrastructures “such as decentralized storage, oracles, and domain name service, creating a solid foundation for the next-gen Internet.”

As noted in the update, Simplex by Nuvei claims to be “the fiat/crypto infrastructure for the entire world.”

An EU-licensed financial institution, Simplex by Nuvei aims “to change the status quo of the current crypto markets by providing simple, seamless, and secure channels to convert over 100+ fiat currencies to 170+ cryptocurrencies.”

Simplex has been actively “supporting existing and new protocols in the industry, nurturing and expanding its portfolio of supported cryptocurrencies.”
