Global investment crowdfunding platform OurCrowd has partnered with India-based JITO Angel Network (JAN).
According to multiple reports, the deal is for OurCrowd to provide access to investment opportunities for JITO’s members.
OurCrowd is one of the largest digital VC platforms in the world that provides access to private securities offerings to smaller investors. Frequently, OurCrowd will be participating in funding rounds alongside big named VCs. While based in Israel, thus gaining access to the robust startup scene, OurCrowd operates globally with a presence in multiple countries around the world. OurCrowd has reported dozens of exits in past years.
As quoted in BWDisrupt, Rajat Mehta, the Chairman of JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation, stated:
“We are proud to have found a partner in OurCrowd, one of the largest venture capital firms in Israel and the country’s most active startup investor. This deal will empower inventive and ingenious companies in two of the most robust technology ecosystems in the world. The JITO community has experienced members who can provide our portfolio companies with countless opportunities in India and abroad.”
The first deal between the two entities took place in September when JITO participated in a funding round for BetterSeeds, an Agtech in Israel.
