FinTech Alliance has announced a partnership with Seedrs, a leading securities crowdfunding platform.
FinTech Alliance is a community backed by the UK government that operates in partnership with the UK Department for International Trade. By working within the UK Fintech ecosystem, the entity aims to support the country’s prominence as a top global Fintech hub.
According to a post on its website, the partnership will allow FinTech Alliance to connect companies looking to raise capital with Seedrs.
Once connected, the Seedrs team will assist them through the onboarding process, helping them set up a campaign on their platform. FinTech Alliance will continue to support firms issuing securities on the Seedrs platform by promoting the offering to its community. Seedrs connects both smaller, retail investor alongside more sophisticated individuals and VCs to fund the firms raising capital on its site. To date, Seedrs firms have raised over £2.3 billion making it one of the largest online investment platforms in the world. This volume is poised to grow following the acquisition of Seedrs by US based Republic as well as the changing regulatory environment in the EU that now allows issuers to raise up to €5 million across all member states.
