Alchemy Pay Announces New Management Structure, Senior Personnel Appointments

With the purpose of tapping into the collective expertise of our team, as well as keeping the team innovative and dynamic, the Alchemy Pay Board of Directors has “effected a significant restructuring of Alchemy Pay’s management.”

As of January 1st, 2023, Alchemy Pay has “transitioned from a centralized management system to a committee-based management system.”

Following a successful trial period, this change is “now official and is hereby announced.”

The team would like to take this opportunity to introduce their committee members of Alchemy Pay’s management and advisory aboard as follows:

Andy Ng

With over 20 years of deep-diving product experience, Andy “has previously served as Senior Vice President of Lazada and Chief Product Officer of Grab’s innovative products.”

Ethan Wang

Ethan formerly worked for Facebook Libra “as a tech lead and founding team member. He is also the co-founder of LINQ.”

Javier Mascherano

Javier joined Alchemy Pay “as a brand ambassador.” He is “the former captain of the Argentina national team and the official ambassador for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.”

Jonas Cernius

Over 10 years of combined experience “in civil service and finance compliance.” Before joining Alchemy Pay, he worked in the crypto compliance field “as a senior analyst. Extensive experience in legal operations.”

Molly Zheng

Molly is “the current QFPay Chairman and has over 20 years of experience in the payment industry.” She served “as Senior Consultant at PayPal, SVP of HSBC, Director of GE Money, and Chief Representative of MasterCard.”

Robert McCracken

Robert reportedly “has 15 years of content development experience and 3 years of blockchain research experience.” He has “studied blockchain finance with MIT Professor Gary Gensler, the current chairman of the U.S. SEC.”

Shawn Shi

Founder of Alchemy Pay, Shawn is “a former executive of many publicly listed companies and a partner of well known investment funds.”

The Alchemy Pay founding team “believed that the implementation of a committee-based management structure would share the pressures of running the business, while bringing in more professionals and expertise.”

They are optimistic “that the switch will bring a diverse range of perspectives and innovative ideas to the table.” It will also “provide ample opportunities for our workforce to actively participate in the growth and success of Alchemy Pay.”

Their belief is that this alteration “will enable us to reach previously unattainable milestones, and we anticipate collaborating towards realizing our aspirations and reaching new heights.”
