Uplinq, a global credit & scoring assessment platform for small business lenders, has partnered with SME Finance Forum – an entity that is managed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a part of the World Bank Group.
SME Finance Forum was established by the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion as an entity to pursue SME finance.
Uplinq is a purpose-driven company aiming to help small business owners gain access to fair credit while enhancing SMB lending practices for all lenders.
The collaboration between the two entities is aimed at expanding finance to global SMEs.
Matthew Gamser, CEO of the SME Finance Forum, said the partnership with Uplinq will further grow their mission of helping underserved smaller firms.
Patrick Reily, the co-founder of Uplinq, said they are confident their technology will allow lenders to improve and expand their lending decisions to facilitate access to capital.
The SME Finance Forum seeks to bring together financial firms and techn companies, along with international development institutions to share knowledge, foster innovation, that will promote the growth of SMEs.
