LendInvest has launched a new Mortgage Tech Meetup event series to discuss the future of mortgage technology. The inaugural session will focus on key trends in Mortgage Technology in 2023 and the Future of Lending.
The discussion is expected to be centered on the state of the mortgage process, and growth in technology adoption over the last five years, the difficulty with pulling property data from government sources, and the role of AI, machine learning, and Chat GPT in the mortgage industry.
Peter Wallis, VP of Technology at LendInvest, believes the mortgage industry is lagging behind other Fintech sectors as it continues to be largely manual. Online lending can remove friction points that benefit the broker, originator and customer.
