Seedrs, part of Republic, has commented on its performance in the impact investing sector. In a Tweet, Seedrs noted that, to date, the online investment platform has enabled the following:
- £330 million in funding for sustainability-focused startups
- Sustainability securities offerings listed on the platform hold an 89% success rate
- 49 securities offerings have raised over £1 million for sustainable firms
- Approximately 150,000 individual investments have been committed to sustainable firms
- Sustainability is one of the largest sectors of industry raising capital on Seedrs, with 194+ issuers raising capital online
Seedrs stated:

The company said that not only are these investments good for the planet but good for investors as they aim to generate a return.
