Launched by LendInvest Founder Christian Faes, F2 Finance Aims to Provide Credit to US Fix and Flip Market

Christian Faes, co-founder and former CEO of publicly traded Fintech LendInvest, has launched a new venture. Faes has announced F2 Finance, a Fintech entering the “Fix and Flip” marketplace in the US. The company is sizing up a market at $68 billion, starting with several big US markets – Floriday, Texas, and California.

Launched under the investment firm Faes & Co., Faes, originally from Australia, has migrated from the UK to the US to operate the startup.

The company reports that it has been lending since April, partnering with a “select group of introducers,” and now is expanding its services with plans to go nationwide.

Faes said he is looking forward to building and scaling a short-term mortgage lender in the US. He said it is a huge market that is going through a period of significant disruption. Faes noted that his new venture is similar to what he did with LendInvest, starting in 2008.

“We believe that this disruption presents a particularly interesting opportunity to enter the US market at this time. With this, we will be launching a portfolio of unique and innovative products that sit outside the usual credit box and constraints that most of the market conforms to here.”

LendInvest evolved from an established traditional bridge lender to a digital lender now working with institutional money LendInvest trees on the LSE AIM market, having become a public firm in 2021.

Faes & Co is an investment firm that aims to create tech-enabled lending businesses while also operating as a private credit fund manager, investing in asset-backed loans.
