Exiger, a SaaS company that has transformed the manner in which corporations, government agencies, and banks handle supply chains, declared its intention to sell its renowned Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) division to Capgemini, a predominant business and tech transformation service firm.
The conclusion of this transaction is anticipated in the following months. This announcement comes during a period of rapid growth for Exiger in the realm of third-party risk and supply chain management software.
Established in 2013, Exiger’s FCC division is an ensemble of experts stationed in North America, EMEA, and APAC. Their expertise encompasses advisory roles, analytics, and managed services tied to anti-money laundering, KYC procedures, anti-bribery measures, suspicious activity monitoring, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention.
With an impressive clientele that includes banking giants, capital market leaders, and fintech innovators, Exiger’s client base aligns perfectly with that of Capgemini’s.
Brandon Daniels, CEO of Exiger, remarked on the sale:
This is a significant point in Exiger’s journey. Joining forces with Capgemini enables us to concentrate on our primary third-party risk and supply chain management tech business. As we venture further into advanced AI solutions, we’re ecstatic that our top-tier advisory team will be advancing under such an eminent leader in the sector.
Anirban Bose, the CEO of Capgemini’s Financial Services, added:
The fast-paced evolution of financial crime compliance demands technologically adept, data-centric solutions. The profound expertise that Exiger’s FCC Division brings is invaluable to address the surging client need in this sphere. We are elated to have them on board.
TD Cowen functioned as the exclusive financial counsel, while Dechert LLP acted as the legal advisory to Exiger for this deal.
