Seedrs, part of Republic, is offering investors access to a fund managed by G-Force. The green fund aims to provide investors the opportunity to support firms that are seeking to address the climate. G-Force is managed by partners Marian Gazdik, the former MD of Europe, Startup Grind, and Louis Warner, the former COO Founders Factory.
According to a blog post, The G-Force Fund II is a €20 million vehicle that Seedrs investors will be able to participate in at a lower cost. The first G-Force Fund I, reviewed about 1000 startups and ended up with a group of eight different startups.
The G-Force Fund II opened in May 2023 and has already made its first investment. The Fund focuses on pre-seed investments or angel rounds.
The fund focuses on the following categories:
- Decarbonising the grid
- Fixing food and agriculture
- Electrifying transportation
- Cleaning up industry & buildings, and
- Protecting nature & removing carbon
Seedrs has listed multiple funds over time, which offer an opportunity for investors to gain immediate diversification and thus a lower risk profile.
