MultiBit, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Bitcoin Bridge, Introduces Alchemy Pay’s On-Ramp Solution

MultiBit, a dual sided bridge between EVM and bitcoin, has introduced Alchemy Pay’s On-Ramp solution on its website.

This integration reportedly enhances user convenience, “enabling them to utilize their chosen fiat payment methods effortlessly to acquire $MUBI token on MultiBit’s platform. Furthermore, the $MUBI token is now also integrated into Alchemy Pay’s fiat On-Ramp.”

As the cross-bridge for BRC20, MultiBit aims “to eliminate interoperability challenges between BRC20 and Ethereum-based tokens.”

MultiBit Bridge’s objective is to “serve the Bitcoin ecosystem, facilitate value exchange across different networks via cross-chain techniques, broaden user opportunities for economic actions, and simplify the process of transferring BRC20 tokens across various networks.”

By leveraging Alchemy Pay’s direct-to-customer solution, MultiBit says it “facilitates its token purchase using local currencies, providing a user experience similar to transactions on popular e-commerce platforms like Amazon or eBay.”

As a specialist in the crypto payments industry, Alchemy Pay has “made significant contributions to bridging the gap between cryptocurrencies and mainstream accessibility by facilitating fiat payments for crypto and Web3 services.”

With a vast network of over 300 fiat payment channels, Alchemy Pay has “the capacity to support fiat-crypto purchases in 173 countries, utilizing a wide range of payment methods. The ramps are easily integrated on platforms such as DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, and exchanges, and enable direct purchase of crypto via credit and debit cards, mobile wallets, and bank transfers.”

To drive widespread crypto adoption, Alchemy Pay also actively “seeks and obtains licenses to operate payment services in various countries, including United States, Canada, Indonesia, and Lithuania.”

In the last three months, Alchemy Pay has “achieved a series of successes by obtaining Money Transmitter Licenses in both Arkansas and Iowa, highlighting its competence and payment abilities in the crypto payment industry. Alchemy Pay’s efforts have also gained recognition from prominent entities like Visa and Mastercard, who officially authorized Alchemy Pay as their third-party payment service provider.”

As noted in the update, Multibit Bridge says that it “offers a secure and efficient bridging mechanism to allow for seamless cross-network transfers of tokens between the ETH chain, BNB chain, and BTC network.”

Bridging ERC20 tokens with BRC20 tokens, the Multibit Bridge enhances “the liquidity of BRC20 tokens and promotes the growth and development of the Bitcoin ecosystem.”
