wefox and Wind Tre have selected HDI Embedded as an insurance partner.
The partnership enables greater coverage and “extended warranty solutions for customers of Italian mobile operator Wind Tre.”
wefox, which claims to be the world’s leading insurtech, and Wind Tre, the Italian multi-service operator that offers connections, energy and insurance products, confirmed in an update that they have chosen HDI Embedded, the embedded insurance provider and part of HDI International, to provide extended warranty coverage for household appliances and electronics.
The announcement comes shortly “after Wind Tre launched its insurance agency, Wind Tre Assicurazioni.”
The company chose wefox as their strategic partner to “help select and integrate the best insurance to create innovative and easy-to-use products exclusively for its customers.”
Leveraging wefox’s industry-leading role as a distribution platform and service solution provider, HDI Embedded is now “providing multi-appliance extended warranty insurance for household devices to Wind Tre customers.”

The agile deployment process enabled by wefox “has empowered Wind Tre to swiftly introduce a new offering to better support its customers with insurance solutions in record time.”
As a result, customers gain greater coverage options “at competitive prices, as well as peace of mind thanks to longer protection of their household appliances and electronic goods.”
