Regulatory services firm Englebert has been approved by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to approve crypto asset promotions. The registration is viewable here. Englebert described the approval as a “groundbreaking milestone.’
Englebert is a new company but claims decades of experience within the company. With the FCA authorization, Englebert says it now has the ability to approve cryptoasset promotions, streamlining the way for compliant promotions to be issued from businesses into the UK market.
Engelbert says that registration as a crypto firm has been challenging, with many applicants rejected or forced to pull their applications.
Gareth Malna, co-founder of Englebert, said their teams understanding of the regulatory landscape enabled their approval and securing the authorization allows them to demonstrate their commitment to simplifying the regulatory journey for businesses.
