Regtech Prove Identity and TargetData to Expand Operations into Brazil

Prove Identity, Inc., the global enabler of digital identity, announced a strategic business partnership in Brazil with TargetData, one of Brazil’s big data analysis companies. The agreement will enable more large companies in Brazil to access Prove’s digital identity verification and authentication solutions.

The alliance will improve the security of digital transactions “for Brazilian consumers while also improving the customer experience and making interactions easier and more frictionless, ultimately enabling the improvement of the national security ecosystem, in terms of reliability and real-time verification of thousands of transactions carried out every second by the Brazilian consumers in the digital universe.”

Paulo Nascimento, Senior Director of Sales in Latin America at Prove Identity said:

“Brazil is a key market for Prove and this partnership with TargetData underscores our commitment to providing advanced, reliable identity verification solutions for online transactions in the region. With a growing demand for secure identity verification services – in practically all verticals and especially from institutions in the financial sector – Prove can use its global experience to tailor its products to the needs of the Brazilian market to support brands and their consumers in the challenge of efficiently verifying large volumes of online transactions in real time.”

With the partnership with Prove Identity, TargetData now “offers its customers mobile-centric solutions: Trust Score+, which analyzes the phone number’s reputation and consumer behavioral risk in real time; Prove Pre-Fill, which populates registration forms with consumer information from trusted sources and therefore offers customers a high level of fraud prevention and, at the same time, improves the customer experience.”

In addition, TargetData is also now “offering Identity Verify to enable users to make reliable transactions by confirming the phone’s possession, reputation, and ownership.”

Paulo Nascimento added:

‍“We are proud to be able to contribute to the advancement of data security in our country. Our capacity for real-time and large-scale analysis, to confirm the identity of thousands of online transactions by using Brazilians’ cell phone numbers in a privacy-centric way, sets us apart as leaders in the sector and provides companies with the confidence necessary to operate safely in the global digital landscape.”‍

TargetData has more than two decades of experience in the market, “with extensive expertise in Big Data & Analytics.”

The company uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques “to provide consistent information for decision-making in the areas of CRM & Sales, Credit Granting, Risk & Compliance, Credit Collection and Recovery, and Fraud Prevention.”

Operating in the international digital identity market since 2008, Prove Identity stands out as one of the few companies “capable of carrying out accurate real-time identity verification and authentication of consumers and digital transactions on a large, global scale.”

This capability is a game-changer for companies “looking to improve their security measures and ensure the legitimacy of their users’ identities across a range of applications, from financial services to e-commerce.”
