Regnology, a software provider with a focus on regulatory reporting solutions, announced that its Rcloud platform has completed the System and Organization Controls 2 Type II (SOC 2) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
This move underscores Regnology’s commitment “to security compliance and protecting its clients, who can trust that Regnology has taken all necessary measures to ensure the safety, security, and privacy of their data and other information.”
While the SOC2/ISAE3000 Type 2 report, also “applies to Regnology’s managed services, it is particularly important for its Rcloud platform, which was launched in partnership with Google Cloud in 2022.”
Rcloud provides augmented regulatory reporting solutions “leveraging the power of Google Cloud’s infrastructure that can seamlessly adapt to evolving regulatory environments. With over 200 banks from 20 countries currently subscribed to the platform, this certification is necessary.”
Antoine Moreau, Chief info Officer at Regnology said:
“At Regnology, our clients have and will always be a top priority. We are delighted to have completed the SOC 2/ISAE 3000 certification, and will remain steadfast committed to designing and delivering the most robust and secure environments. As we continue to expand into new regions, North America and APAC specifically, this certification is indicative of the measures we have taken to protect Regnology’s and our clients’ data and abide by the most demanding global standards.”
The SOC 2 Type 2 certification demonstrates “the operating effectiveness of the security controls of the Rcloud infrastructure.”
The full scope of certifications obtained in 2024 also “includes SOC 1/ISAE3402 Type 2 Report for Software Development and Managed Services, and CSA STAR.”
They complement the ISO certification achieved in 2022 “validating the company’s compliance to the highest standards of the design of controls.”
