Anchorage Digital Hires Former SEC Senior Counsel as New General Counsel

Anchorage Digital, a company that operates the only digital asset-focused chartered bank, has appointed a new General Counsel. According to a statement by the firm, TuongVy Le has stepped into the executive role.

A graduate of Yale Law, Ve formerly worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission where she was a Senior Counsel at the Department of Enforcement and will certainly bring some valuable perspective and experience to Anchorage.  Most recently, she served as Partner and Head of Regulatory and Policy for Bain Capital Crypto, and as Deputy General Counsel and Compliance Officer at Worldcoin.

Nathan McCauley, co-founder and CEO of Anchorage Digital, said the company has committed to being a regulatory pioneer to best meet institutions’ needs, adding that Vy holds a unique blend of legal, regulatory, and policy experience.

Vy said she looks forward to helping Anchorage Digital meet the rising institutional demand for crypto in a safe and compliant manner,

“…as we expand our product offerings and enter new markets. Maintaining the trust that our clients have placed in us will be my top priority.”

Vy steps into a position that was previously held by Georgia Quinn, a longtime Fintech advocate who previously worked at CoinList and, prior to that, was active in the crowdfunding sector. Quinn, who served as GC at Anchorage for 3.5 years, is now listed as an Advisor.
