OurCrowd’s Israel Resilience Fund Reports $17 Million, Partners with PwC

Global online investment platform OurCrowd is reporting that its Israel Resilience Fund is now over $17 million in investor commitments.

The OurCrowd Israel Resilience Fund was announced in November 2023 following the invasion by Hamas and the horrific atrocities committed by the terrorists. At that time, OurCrowd explained that the Fund would focus on Israel-based portfolio companies, both with new and follow-up funding rounds, that have been impacted by the war with Hamas. OurCrowd added that companies that are providing tech that helps to support the ongoing crisis will be part of this new fund. The first investments were made in December.

Today, OurCrowd is sharing that PwC Israel is collaborating on the fund by providing business development, mentorship, and other support to startups. Currently, 34 different companies representing over 1000 jobs are part of the fund.

Guy Preminger, Technology Leader at PwC Israel, said they are proud to collaborate with OurCrowd and the Fund.

“Our involvement in the program is focused on helping the portfolio companies with their business development and fundraising efforts in Israel and abroad; connections to a large pool of finance executives, who are committed to support the companies; dedicated mentorship from our experts; and more.”

OurCrowd founder and CEO Jon Medved noted that OurCrowd is waiving all management fees and carried interest to strengthen investors’ financial return further.

OurCrowd reports over $2.3 billion in committed capital and a portfolio of 440 companies and 56 funds around the world. The investment platform allows smaller (accredited) investors to participate in VC funding deals, frequently alongside big-name investors.

To date, OurCrowd’s startups have recorded 63 exits, including several public market listings: Beyond Meat (BYND), Lemonade (LMND), Innoviz (INVZ), Arbe (ARBE), Alpha Tau (DRTS), Freightos (CRGO); and numerous acquisitions: JUMP by Uber, BriefCam by Canon, Argus by Continental, Crosswise by Oracle, Replay by Intel, Corephotonics by Samsung, CyberX by Microsoft, and Kenna Security by Cisco.
