Nubank (NYSE: NU), which claims to be one of the largest digital financial services platforms, announces the release of Nubank+, which is described as “an evolution of the Nu experience.”
From now on, those who join the experience will reportedly “have even more benefits like cashback, streaming, free withdrawals, and more.”
The partnership with Max in Brazil, also announced today, is “part of the Nubank+ benefits, offering access to the streaming platform at no extra cost for the first 12 months, on the Basic Plan with ads, highlighting Nu’s focus on promoting unique experiences for customers to enjoy their leisure moments, beyond the best financial products and services. Nubank+ will start to be rolled out in the coming weeks.”
Livia Chanes, CEO of Nubank in Brazil, said:
“We are always striving to offer the best benefits to our customers and we saw the opportunity to provide benefits not only in the use of our products but also in solutions for their daily lives. Following this idea, Nubank+ emerges as an experience to bring benefits that make users’ lives lighter and more enjoyable.”
Benefits for Nubank+ customers:
- Instant 0.5% cashback on the credit card, which does not expire and can be redeemed to the account or converted into miles.
- Access to the Max monthly basic plan with ads for the 12 months of subscription, to watch original series, movies, sports, reality shows, and more with Full HD resolution and two screens connected simultaneously. For the launch, the Max offer is available only in the ad-supported version for Nubank+ customers, but in the upcoming months, customers will also have the option to upgrade to the ad-free version.
- Unlimited free withdrawals at Banco24Horas ATMs.
- Payment Assistant – the personal assistant to organize and pay monthly bills now has an exclusive feature: Smart Alerts to monitor and notify if the amount of bills registered for automatic debit exceeds expectation.
Nubank+ aims to recognize the partnership with customers.
Those who already concentrate their financial life “on Nu and spend over R$3,500 per month on the credit card can enjoy Nubank+ at no cost, while other Nubank customers can also be part of the experience for R$29/month.”
This experience is available for customers over 18 years old who have a credit card, except for the “Building Limit” version.
Ultravioleta customers also have “access to the Max monthly plan with ads as part of their benefits.”
Max is the streaming platform of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) that “offers an entertainment destination for the whole family, with iconic brands like HBO, Warner Bros., DC Universe, Discovery, Discovery Home & Health, ID, Discovery Kids, Cartoon Network, and [adult swim], as well as the most beloved franchises by fans worldwide, such as Harry Potter, Batman, Superman, Game Of Thrones, Looney Tunes, Peppa Pig, and many others.”
