UK’s Atlantic Money Announces Launch of Web Platform

Atlantic Money, which claims to be the world’s first money transfer service with a fixed fee and real rates, announced the launch of its web platform.

The new robust desktop experience caters “to Atlantic Money’s over 10,000 customers who transfer significantly higher volumes than typical fintech users, many of whom prefer managing those transactions from a laptop or computer.”

While initially focused on best-in-class mobile apps, “building a web platform became a prioritized part of Atlantic Money’s roadmap due to customer demand.”

Atlantic Money’s annual transfer “volume of £31,700 per customer far exceeds fintech averages. Wise, for example, moves £10,500 per customer.”

The three times higher average volume is “thus not only a testament to the company’s unique fixed-fee pricing model but also validates users’ demand for a powerful cross-device experience to facilitate these higher-volume transfers.”

Atlantic Money‘s high average transfer amount “is clearly reflected in the company’s total transfer volume exceeding £400 million since its launch in July 2022, dramatically exceeding competitors’ total volume at the same point in their history.”

By introducing the “world’s first” fixed fee of just £3 for transfers up to £1 million, they’ve attracted customers looking “to make larger, high-volume international payments.”

While their mobile app provides an easy transfer experience for our users, the powerful new web platform positions Atlantic Money to better “serve customers’ high-volume transaction needs–from freelancers and expatriates moving larger sums overseas, all the way to businesses requiring robust high-volume transfer management capabilities.”

With this launch, the full suite of Atlantic Money’s money transfer capabilities “is now available at for desktop and laptop users.”

This includes:

  • World’s first and only flat £3 fee on transfers up to £1 million
  • Real-time exchange rates
  • Fast identity verification and source of funds checks
  • Saved recipient lists for recurring transfers
  • Initiating, tracking and managing all transfers online
  • Transparent transfer histories and activity records
  • Login for businesses and individuals

Neeraj Baid, Co-Founder and CEO of Atlantic Money said:

“Affordability has been our top priority, but we’ve also relentlessly focused on simplicity. The new web experience maintains the same user-friendly approach that our mobile app is renowned for.”

The Atlantic Money web platform is now “available in all markets Atlantic Money operates: the United Kingdom, European Union, Australia and Canada.”
