This collaboration will see Adyen “process installment payments made through Afterpay and will allow its customers to have access to Afterpay’s BNPL solution which includes merchants such as Veralab, Douglas, Twinset, Alpitour, Best Western and more.”
Thanks to the synergy with Adyen, Afterpay can “take advantage of a solid technological platform that offers advanced features in transaction processing.”
Through sophisticated solutions based on machine learning, it will be “possible to offer a seamless payment experience , while increasing the conversion rate at checkout and reducing the risk of fraud.”
At the same time, this partnership will allow Adyen customers “to activate the Afterpay payment solution directly from the Adyen platform, thus benefiting from one of the most appreciated purchasing methods by consumers. In addition to responding to the growing demand of the latter, BNPL proves to be a highly advantageous option also for merchants. According to a report by Afterpay, brands that integrate this option into their site or physical store record an average increase of 48% in the value of orders, 11% in the conversion rate and 55% in new customers.”
