The Hashgraph Association has announced a partnership with Adanian Labs and The Africa Blockchain Centre. In a statement distributed by Hashgraph, the aim is to support blockchain development in Africa.
The partnership expects to “empower over 3000 Web3 developers “across Africa through the DLT Africa Regional Developer Program (DLT-ARDP).
The Hashgraph Association says it will equip the participants with access to the latest Web3 industry knowledge and best practices.
Kamal Youssefi, President of the Hashgraph Association, said the collaboration builds upon other strategic partnerships on the continent, adding the arrangement is key to empowering the youth and fostering a digital future in Africa.
The partnership seeks to help tech-savvy students across Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, Rwanda, and South Africa. The participants will receive certifications from The Hashgraph Association and will be accredited as Hedera-Certified Developers (HCD).

Participants will also have the chance to compete with other innovators and participate in the Entrepreneur Exchange Program (EEP) with Switzerland.
Students in Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa are now invited to apply for the DLT Africa Regional Capacity Building Program.
