In an era plagued with AI-powered impersonation and sophisticated deep fakes, accurately verifying digital identity is more critical than ever. This, according to an update shared by Prove.
However, as we enter this AI era, businesses are at risk of adopting a cure that’s equally harmful as the disease, the team at Prove noted in a blog post.
As businesses exhaust huge amounts of resources to fight fraud and mitigate risk, they’re oftentimes doing so “at the expense of the consumer experience,” the Prove team explained in a recent update.
Prove’s blog post added that today’s consumers are “inundated with an endless cycle of security measures online, saddling them with the responsibility of proving their identity, and ultimately leading them to abandon sign-ups, delay arduous onboarding, and more.”
These so-called protective measures are “grinding growth to a halt,” the update from Prove claims.
According to Prove, it doesn’t have to be this way. At Prove, they’ve built “an identity platform that flips the paradigm, enabling businesses to create a VIP experience for verified consumers while boxing out the fraudsters.”
This not only relieves consumers of the responsibility of “securing their own identities but simultaneously unlocks new opportunities for business growth.”
Last year alone, Prove helped create “nearly $2 billion in net new revenue for our customers.”
To continue achieving our mission of accelerating trusted interactions on the internet, they’re pleased to announce the “introduction of the Prove developer self-service platform and the Prove LinkTM SDK.”
With these tools, it’s now faster and easier for any company to “integrate their identity technology into its brand operations.”
The Prove developer self-service platform “simplifies identity verification and authentication processes for businesses offering seamless and accurate real-time identity management throughout the entire lifecycle of customer identities, ensuring the highest pass rates with the lowest fraud rates.”
Through orchestrated APIs and real-time Key Management, the Prove developer self-service platform “offers identity protection in every transaction.”
The Prove developer self-service platform effectively “automates the process of identity verification” and:
- Unlocks the ability to create custom identity-based experiences – Now companies can easily create VIP experiences and custom use cases to help grow their business
- Protects against emerging threats – As Prove detects new fraud and threats emerging anywhere on the internet, our platform continuously adapts to automatically manage and protect your business and customers without consuming valuable IT resources.
- Makes it easier and faster for any company to adopt any use case – What used to take months of custom integration can now be as fast as 1 day to get up and running with the Prove Link SDK.
Prove’s platform is said to be “trusted by more than 1,000 enterprises across industries where identity verification is paramount, including finance (serving 9 of the top 10 U.S. banks), healthcare (2 of the top 3 U.S. healthcare companies), and commerce (3 of the top 5 U.S. retailers).”
With the Prove Link SDK, they’re meeting the “growing demand for identity solutions across industries and use cases – whether you’re purchasing concert tickets, hailing a ride, investing in crypto, or meeting an online connection offline for the first time, separating the bots and fraudsters from the verified consumers enables businesses to create better, trusted experiences for their customers and grow their bottom lines.”
As they make it easier for any company to grow their business with Prove’s identity solutions, they have brought on two executives to ther leadership team “who will help lead them through the next phase of profitable growth.”
