IT cybersecurity firm Metabase Q has introduced ZeroAPT Mitigator to its Batuta platform, enhancing proactive security measures for its enterprise clients.
Batuta, which monitors and manages remote endpoints and cybersecurity technologies, now allows organizations to further reduce the risk of cyberattacks by utilizing the latest techniques used by advanced persistent threats (APTs), according to Metabase Q’s announcement.
The platform has gained traction since its launch, with over 50 enterprise clients across 45 countries.
Batuta provides centralized oversight for IT and cybersecurity teams, offering insights into cyber risk and operational efficiencies, enabling teams to proactively reduce the likelihood of attacks.
If an attack occurs, response and recovery times are significantly improved.
Batuta’s cloud-native design consolidates cybersecurity management across various locations, including subsidiaries and acquired companies.
Its proactive approach to endpoint security, coupled with improved patching speed and command execution, enhances response times and reduces operational overhead. The platform also identifies unused software licenses, helping organizations cut costs while strengthening protection.
Metabase Q has taken a unique approach with Batuta by treating endpoint management as a financial asset. The system verifies the effectiveness of current cybersecurity tools, reducing the risk of breaches due to outdated or disconnected security agents.
In conjunction with the product update, Metabase Q announced the completion of an $11 million Series A extension round, bringing its total funding to $16 million.
The round was led by SYN Ventures, with participation from John Watters, former president of Mandiant. The additional capital will help Metabase Q meet rising demand and expand its go-to-market strategy.
Metabase Q’s forward-thinking approach to cybersecurity, especially through Batuta, addresses key industry challenges related to visibility and control across global organizations.
The new funding will enable the company to scale as demand for its innovative solutions continues to grow.
“Cybersecurity is borderless, and we want to make the world safer. We’re focusing on taking care of enterprises’ security so that they can focus on what really matters – growing their businesses,” said Metabase Q co-founder and CEO Mauricio Benavides.
