Cowbell, a provider of cyber insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and middle-market businesses, has appointed Denise Pagliarulo, a former AXIS Capital finance veteran and Deloitte alumna, to lead its finance team.
According to the update from Insurtech Cowbell, Denise will be responsible for overseeing global finance operations as the company enters a period of growth with new products, services, and geographies.
SMEs are now increasingly looking for streamlined Insurtech solutions to keep up with the fast-paced digital economy. Companies like Cowbell are focused on improving the digital transformation journey while keep businesses protected in an ever-changing online ecosystem.
The Insurtech company has also announced the promotion of Eric Biderman to General Counsel, where he will tasked with continuing to oversee the firm’s legal and regulatory compliance functions and play a key role in Insurtech Cowbell’s initiatives to scale up and drive market penetration.
As noted in the announcement, Eric has been with Cowbell for three years and previously spent more than 16 years in private practice, recently serving as Counsel in the Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group at an AmLaw Top 100 firm.
Jack Kudale, founder and CEO of Cowbell said that with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Denise is set to assist Cowbell with its next phase of growth.
