Mastercard Announces New Benefits to Support Small Businesses in Canada

Mastercard (NYSE: MA) announced recently that it has launched various new benefits in support of small businesses operating across Canada.

Curated new cardholder benefits provide savings on products and solutions tailored to meet the requirements of Canadian business owners.

In order to to acknowledge Small Business Month, Mastercard is announcing new cardholder offerings with the aim to benefit Canadian small businesses, growing its suite of existing tools and solutions.

Via partnerships with Slack, Asana, FlexiRoam, H&R Block and several other service providers, Mastercard says that it is reinforcing its “long-standing commitment” to helping every small business succeed via innovation and community.

Nishant Raina, VP, Small & Medium-Sized Enterprise, Mastercard, Canada said that they are focused on continuing their steady support for small business with new resources to help entrepreneurs tackle real-world challenges with confidence.

Nishant added that with this expansion, they are now giving Small Business cardholders additional opportunities to scale at every stage of their journey with solutions to enhance their businesses.

Small businesses power the Canadian economy at national and local levels – in fact, 66 cents of “every $1 spent at a small business stays within its local economy (CFIB).”

But these businesses face various critical challenges that require differentiated solutions to allow them to “continue their important contributions to their local communities.”
