Mastercard Expands Product Express Platform to Help Fintechs with Launching Card Programs and Payments Solutions

Mastercard (NYSE: MA) has reportedly announced the expansion of its Product Express platform in an effort to help fintechs accelerate the launch of new card programs and other payment solutions.

After the roll-out in Latin America earlier in 2024, Product Express now enables fintechs to launch a card program in “as fast as 15 days.”

Mastercard has announced the expansion of its Product Express platform in MENA, Europe, North America, and more markets in Latin America to help fintechs launch card programs quickly and through a process that’s simple and transparent.

Mastercard Product Express is designed for fintechs, enabling the innovation necessary to meet their customer needs, and helping reduce their time to market by providing them with the “tools, resources and partners required to launch and scale.”

Through the platform, fintechs can select the product that meets their needs, choose plan-certified partners ready to implement, e.g. with live BINs and pre-approved card designs, and the ability to “track progress in full transparency across all steps to be completed by all parties.”

This allows them to reduce the time to market with the platform providing a way for fintechs to “launch card programs in as fast as 15 days.”

The platform empowers partners to deliver frictionless experiences, helping their fintech clients excel in a competitive market.

Within the first year of launch, Mastercard has brought onto the platform BIN Sponsors, Processors and Program Managers such as Blusalt, Episode Six, FOO, Giftstarr, i2c Inc., Nymcard, Optimus, Paymentology, Wema Bank.

Beyond card issuance, Product Express will aim to provide simple, fast and transparent onboarding for “additional solutions” to enable global payments acceptance.

This includes a host of Acceptance solutions available globally as well as enterprise payment solutions via Mastercard Gateway, which offers a single connection to help customers “accept payments globally and expand into new markets more easily.”

Mastercard is a global tech firm focused sharply on the payments industry.

Their mission is to connect and power an “inclusive, digital economy that benefits everyone, everywhere by making transactions safe, simple, smart and accessible.”

Using secure data and networks, partnerships and passion, their innovations and solutions help individuals, financial institutions, governments and businesses “realize their greatest potential.”

With connections across more than 210 different countries and territories, we are building a more “sustainable” world that unlocks various possibilities for all.
