Klarna, the AI-powered global payments network and shopping assistant, has launched with Staples, a firm focused on workspace products and solutions.
Staples customers can spread the cost of their vital office supplies with Klarna’s Pay in 4 or Financing options, or “pay in full” with Pay Now, when shopping online at Staples.com.
Mike Shady, Chief Digital Officer, Staples, Inc. said that they are pleased to this added convenience and value to customers, “making their shopping experience more seamless.”
Shady added that this partnership with Klarna reflects their commitment to evolving with customers’ needs by making their shopping experience even more accessible and allowing them to “manage purchases without the pressure of upfront costs.”
Erin Jaeger, Head of North America at Klarna said that they’re pleased to team up with Staples to make it easier for shoppers to “get what they need for work and home.”
Jaeger pointed out that their goal is for Klarna to be “available on every checkout, for everything, everywhere.”
Jaeger also mentioned that their users’ Klarna wishlist items are electronic devices, including laptops, monitors, and headphones; by joining forces with Staples, we’re able to offer customers an “easier way to spread the cost of vital office supplies fairly and transparently.”
With Klarna’s flexible payment options, Staples customers have more ways to pay.
Whether stocking up on home office essentials, grabbing a new laptop, or upgrading headphones, shoppers are able to choose to pay now or split their purchase into “four interest-free payments, or for bigger buys, extend payments even further.”
These options bring a “simple, budget-friendly” way to shop for everything they need to stay productive.
This partnership expands Klarna’s growing network of partners, which it has grown by more than 100,000 during the last year.
Klarna reportedly works with 46 of the “top” 100 US retailers, including trusted names such as Airbnb, Uber, Adidas, Expedia, Rite Aid.
