ClearBank, the enabler of real-time clearing and embedded banking, announced the availability of its cloud-native banking solutions and payment infrastructure in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure.
This will open up ClearBank’s banking solutions and payments infrastructure to Azure customers, presenting a growth opportunity for ClearBank.
ClearBank’s customers can now take advantage of the productive Azure cloud platform, with deployment and management.
In addition to reducing the friction of the procurement process and promoting scalability, adopting ClearBank products “through Azure Marketplace provides existing Microsoft customers with commercial benefits.”
In addition to this, the Azure Marketplace’s stringent security, technology, and compliance requirements reflect the “quality of ClearBank’s products and will help build additional trust with buyers and sellers on the platform.”
This is the latest development in the companies’ collaboration, which started in 2017.
It includes a sustainability initiative which started this year focused on establishing carbon efficiency in payments and “supporting the sector through low carbon technology innovation and cooperation.”
The companies are also driving advanced innovation in the financial sector through greater use of AI and automation tools, which is already “delivering efficiencies and enabling ClearBank analysts to spend more time proactively supporting clients.”
As noted in the update:
“Our long-standing collaboration with Microsoft has played an important role in ClearBank’s expansion, setting us up to grow globally whilst also accelerating our sustainability improvements. This latest move further strengthens these ties, opening up ClearBank to a wider pool of businesses as we look to push into new markets. We pride ourselves on our cloud-native approach and are confident that Microsoft’s systems will facilitate seamless adoption of our services to companies using Microsoft Azure.”
