Amsterdam‘s VeriD, a digital identity verification SaaS platform that has been founded in 2022 by Robert Van Altena, confirmed that it raised €2 million in funding to position itself for growth in European markets.
The firm is also getting ready for a €4 million investment round in order to accelerate its expansion and enhance its role in the fast-evolving digital identity sector, driven by the introduction of the eIDAS 2.0 regulation.
With the rise of numerous all-digital platforms to better meet consumers’ requirements, there’s also a growing need for robust id verification solutions in order to ensure customer safety.
